Pulatkhon Lutfullayev, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages, one of Uzbekistan's established higher education institutions, visited our University as part of the Erasmus Staff Mobility Program.
As part of the visit, Acting Vice Rector Pulatkhon Lutfullayev held a meeting with our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı on July 28, 2025. The Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Lecturer Mehmet Bolluk, was also present at the meeting.
In the meeting held, collaboration opportunities were discussed on topics such as providing academic advisory support to students enrolled in master's programs between the two universities, designing joint curricula, and organizing short-term in-service training and cultural programs for Uzbek academics hosted by our University.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı said, "We are pleased to develop cooperation with the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages, which has a rich history and a strong academic structure. Such international contacts are of enormous importance in terms of sharing academic knowledge and experience. "Our university is always open to international collaborations," he stated.
Vice Rector Lutfullayev expressed his gratitude to our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kaymakcı for their hospitality and wished for the further development of cooperation between the two institutions.
The visit concluded with the exchange of gifts and a commemorative photo session.
