The Administrative Staff Adaptation Program organized by Kastamonu University was held in the Cemil Meriç Hall of our University Central Library from May 4 to 6, 2026.
As part of the program prepared for the academic and administrative staff who started their duties in the last two years, comprehensive briefings were conducted regarding the operation, institutional structure, and service processes of our University. Through presentations by representatives from various departments, participants received basic information on the administrative structure, academic processes, and areas of responsibility.
The opening of the program was conducted by the Secretary General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş. In his speech, Demirbaş emphasized the importance of institutional compliance for service quality and highlighted the significance of new staff quickly and effectively adapting to the functioning of our University.
On the last day of the program, a session was held where the Director of the Revolving Fund Management, Ömer Hürgül, the Press and Public Relations Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selver Mertoğlu and the General Coordinator of External Relations Assoc.Prof.Dr. M. Öztürk Akcaoğlu provided briefings on the activities of their respective departments.
Ömer Hürgül provided information on the activities and businesses conducted within the revolving fund framework and explained the operation of the processes. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selver Mertoğlu discussed how staff can contact the press and public relations unit within the framework of corporate communication processes and the practices that enhance corporate visibility. M. Öztürk Akcaoğlu informed the participants about the processes of benefiting from Erasmus programs, particularly within the framework of internationalization efforts.
The program concluded with a speech by the Coordinator of Excellence in Education, Prof. Dr. Berat Ahi. Prof.Dr. Ahi emphasized the importance of a quality-focused approach in education and stated that efforts to support institutional development would continue.
The program concluded after a group photo session with the participants.
