The Kastamonu University Publicity and Preference Period, organized to help university candidates make informed, correct choices during the 2026-YKS preference process, began on August 5, 2026, at the Kastamonu Guidance and Research Center (RAM) Building.
Our university's Career Development Application and Research Center (KAGEM), in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Kastamonu Guidance and Research Center, and our university's Science Communication Office, is hosting an event that will welcome prospective students and their families until August 7, 2026.
Candidates who will be making university preferences can obtain information directly about the educational programs offered in our university's faculties, schools, and vocational schools at the event. In addition, questions about student-centered education, accreditation and quality studies, project and entrepreneurship ecosystem, innovation and technology infrastructure, internationalization, student communities, campus life, scholarship and accommodation opportunities, double major and minor programs, international exchange programs, internship processes, and activities in the social, cultural, and sports fields are also answered.
Our academic and administrative staff, who are involved in preference counseling, provide one-on-one advisory services for program selection based on the interests, success rankings, and career goals of prospective students. Families can also get information about the educational process, campus life, and topics related to students' university life that interest them.
As part of the event, prospective students can be directed to the Prospective Student Page at aday.kastamonu.edu.tr, where they can explore digital content related to academic programs, the selection process, internationalization, campus life, student communities, and social opportunities. Thanks to the preference guides and promotional content on the page, candidates can get to know our University better.
In the field of promotion, content prepared for future professions is also presented to attract prospective students' interest. Through this content, candidates can evaluate the selection process more consciously by learning about emerging career fields and the educational programs related to them.
