The program held at Emin Baydil Sports Field as part of the 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony, organized to mark the 20th anniversary of Kastamonu University, continued with the presentation of awards to students and teams who achieved success in the 20th Year Student Sports Games, following the cap-throwing ceremony.
Athletes and teams who ranked in various competitions held in different branches throughout the academic year received their medals and trophies at the ceremony.
In the men's volleyball category, the Faculty of Education came first, the Kastamonu Vocational School came second, and the Bozkurt Vocational School came third. The awards were presented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.
In the women's volleyball category, the Faculty of Education placed first, the Faculty of Communication placed second, and the School of Civil Aviation placed third. The awards were presented by the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı.
In the football tournament, the Faculty of Education came first, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences second, and the School of Civil Aviation third. The awards were presented by the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan.
In the men’s basketball category, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences came first, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture came second, and the Faculty of Education came third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Orhan Kandemir, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Prof. Dr. İzzet Şener, and the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kaçar.
In the women’s basketball category, the Faculty of Health Sciences came first, the Civil Aviation Vocational School came second, and the Inebolu Vocational School came third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Tuna, the Director of the School of Civil Aviation, Prof. Dr. Engin Kanbur, and the Director of the Inebolu Vocational School, Dr. Faculty Member Mustafa Karga.
In the team chess category, the Faculty of Medicine came in first, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine second, and the Faculty of Forestry third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Avcı, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Özgür Kaynar, and the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Gür.
In the bowling team competitions, the students from the Faculty of Medicine, Ege Keskin and Yusuf Burak Yaşar, came in first, the students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, İhsan Yaar and Mustafa Türker, came in second, and the team formed by the students from the School of Civil Aviation came in third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Fatma Zehra Pattabanoğlu.
In the men's category of darts, Ege Keskin, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, came in first, İsmail Dilmen, a student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, came in second, and Murat Akkaya, a student of the Civil Aviation School, came in third. In the women’s category, Esra Alev, a student of the Civil Aviation School, came in first, Sude Çeçen, a student of the Sports Sciences Faculty, came in second, and Gülhan Arslan, a student of the Civil Aviation School, came in third. The awards were presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Coşkun.
In the men’s badminton category, Koray Mert Kemiksiz, a student of Daday Vocational School, came first, Ahmet Salih Mutaf, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, came second, and Ahmet Can Öztürk came third. The awards were presented by the Director of Daday Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Tolga Ulusoy.
In the women’s badminton category, İrem Gökmen, a student of the Civil Aviation School, came first, Betül Özcan, a student of the Faculty of Tourism, came second, and Sevim Deniz came third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Burhan Sevim.
In the first table category of chess, Veterinary Faculty student Yuşa Alperen Akkaya came first, Medical Faculty student Toprak Duman came second, and Kastamonu Vocational School student Erhan Yiğitoğlu came third. The awards were presented by the Director of the Kastamonu Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Salman.
In the second table category of chess, Alper Karaoğlu, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, came in first, Mesut Çakırgöz, a student of the Faculty of Forestry, came in second, and Selim Yetim, a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, came in third. The awards were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Gür.
In the men's table tennis category, Faculty of Medicine students Muhammed Enes Gök, Yusuf Burak Yaşar, and Ege Keskin achieved the top three positions, respectively. In the women’s category, Beyza Korkmazer, a student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, came in first, Elmas Sarvan, a student of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, came in second, and Yeliz Didin, a student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, came in third. The awards were presented by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arıkan Ektirici.
The award ceremony concluded after the athletes and team representatives took commemorative photos.
