Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Attorney Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safa Koçoğlu Gürsoy visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal in his office on June 12, 2026. The Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, was also present at the visit.

During the visit, our Rector informed Deputy Minister Gürsoy of the current projects underway between our University and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Our Rector stated that collaborations between our University and public institutions are important for scientific research, academic activities, and social contributions, and expressed that they are open to any efforts to enhance collaboration opportunities. 

Deputy Minister Safa Koçoğlu Gürsoy expressed his gratitude to our Rector for the hospitality and stated that they were pleased with the sustainable continuation of the cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and our University, and conveyed their thanks for our University's contributions.

The visit ended with a commemorative photo taken to mark the day.
