Visiting Kastamonu to attend the fourth session of the "4 Cities 4 Places 4 Akif" symposium organized under the auspices of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University, Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan, paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office.
Hosted by our university, the two rectors came together within the framework of the program titled "Courage and Kastamonu Days in Mehmet Âkif Ersoy" and made evaluations regarding the symposium process. In the meeting, the importance of addressing Mehmet Âkif Ersoy’s activities in Kastamonu and his role during the National Struggle period with academic studies was emphasized.
During the visit, the academic collaboration opportunities between the two universities were also discussed. A discussion was held on joint studies, scientific events, and project collaborations across various fields, especially in the social sciences. Mutual evaluations were made regarding the sustainable development of inter-institutional communication.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, thanked Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan for his kind visit. Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan expressed his gratitude to our Rector for their hospitality and hosting.
During the visit to the Rectorate, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan and Project Coordinator Gazi Doğan were also present.
