Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, visited the General President of Türk Eğitim-Sen, Talip Geylan, on June 16, 2026.

Additionally, retired and veteran faculty member Prof. Dr. Temel Çalık from the Faculty of Education at Gazi University, as well as Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yeşil, a faculty member at the same faculty and also the Academic Coordinator for Türkiye Kamu-Sen and Türk Eğitim-Sen, were present at the visit.

During the visit, evaluations were conducted of the common working areas in higher education and among education employees.

In the meeting, where education, academic collaborations, and socially focused contributions were discussed, the importance of acting together in line with common goals in education and of advancing relationships between institutions was emphasized.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, thanked the President of Türk Eğitim-Sen, Talip Geylan, for their interest, kindness, and hospitality, and emphasized the importance of joint efforts and inter-institutional cooperation in education. 

The President of Türk Eğitim-Sen, Talip Geylan, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that the cooperation and joint efforts between universities and organizations representing educational workers would contribute to the field of education.
