Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, visited the Yunus Emre Institute with his accompanying delegation.
During the visit hosted by the President of the Yunus Emre Institute (YEE), Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Aliy, the following individuals were present: Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, Director of our University's Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) Prof. Dr. M. Onur Hasdedeoğlu, Head of the YEE Turkish Teaching Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Boylu, and Faculty of Education Turkish Education Department Assist.Prof.Dr. İbrahim Fatih Demirel.
During the visit, joint projects and collaboration opportunities between our University and the Yunus Emre Institute were discussed. In the meetings, the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, activities for international students, and collaborations in education and culture were evaluated.
After the meetings, a Cooperation and Promotion Protocol was signed between our University and the Yunus Emre Institute.
Within the scope of the protocol, our University will provide academic support for the Yunus Emre Institute's education, research and development, assessment and evaluation, and cultural activities. The Yunus Emre Institute will provide our University with digital materials, educational resources, and support for technological infrastructure. Contributions will also be made to activities within TÖMER.
Within the framework of the collaboration, it is anticipated that our university's students and graduates will benefit more extensively from the Institute's certificate programs, exams, and international educational activities.
After the signing ceremony, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, and the President of the Yunus Emre Institute, Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Aliy, expressed their wishes for the protocol to be beneficial and shared their evaluations regarding the cooperation.
