Sports facilities to promote our students’ engagement in any kind of sports activities are of great importance for our university. Much importance is given to winter sports because the region is one of the most important winter sports centers. Students and trainers who have an interest in skiing and running can make good use of the facilities nearby. There are several mountains of 2000 meters altitude in Kastamonu which attract many enthusiasts of skiing and mountaineering. Many students take advantage of these ski centers which are only 40 kilometers away from the university campus. The university organizes weekend trips to the ski center.
For many people in-campus sports and entertainment center add positively up to the campus life. Basketball, volleyball, soccer-carpet field, tennis, table tennis and athletics are among the activities provided in our sports centers. Sports fields are located in the campus and there are trainers for almost any type of sports.
