APPLICATIONS FOR MEVLANA EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

FOR 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

 

Applications to Mevlana Exchange Programme for the 2019-2020 academic year will be taken by your University’s Mevlana Instutıon Coordinatorship.

The applications of the candidates determined by Mevlana Institution Coordinatorship of the other University are sent to Kastamonu University by Mevlana Institution Coordinator between the dates given in the table below.

 1. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS

The students who will apply for Mevlana Exchange Programme in the 2019-2020 academic year must meet the following requirements.

  • Application must comply with the fields given in Table 2
  • The grade point average (GPA) of associate degree and undergraduate students is to be at least 2,50 on a four-point scale.
  • The grade point average (GPA) of graduate students (MA, PhD) is to be at least 3.00 on a four-point scale.
  • Only the first, second and third grade students can apply.
  • Students who previously participated in Mevlana Exchange Programme cannot apply.

*** Applicants who fulfil the application requirements make their application to Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships in their Universities. Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships calculate the Mevlana Points, which consists of the average of the academic scores of the applicants and the Turkish exam scores.

According to the rankings of Mevlana Scores two candidates are determined by Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships of Universities. And the following documents are delivered to the Kastamonu University Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorship by other University’s Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships between the dates 11-22 February 2019.

1.1. Application Documents for Selected Students

  • Student Application Form (click here) [Please fill the form on computer, then signed and stamped it]
  • Transcript (signed and stamped)
  • Turkish language level related documents (Exam Result).

 

1.2. Scholarship Fee

The students who came with Mevlana Exchange Programme to Kastamonu University will be paid for one semester (Four Month). The scholarship fee will be 4800TL for one semester. The last instalment of the scholarship fee will be paid according to the success rate of the courses.

 

 2. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ACADEMIC STAFF

The academic staff who will apply for Mevlana Exchange Programme in the 2019-2020 academic year must meet the following requirements.

  • Application must comply with the fields given in Table 2.

*** Applicants who fulfil the application requirements make their application to Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships in their Universities.

Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships of the Universities determine two candidates among the applicants. And the following documents are delivered to the Kastamonu University Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorship by other University’s Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinatorships between the dates 11-22 February 2019.

2.1. Application Documents for Selected Academic Staffs

  • Academic Staff Information Form (click here) [Please fill the form on computer, then signed and stamped it]
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Lesson plan for the course
  • Foreign language level related documents (If available).

2.2. Transportation support payment for academic staff

Information about transportation support payment for academic staff who came with Mevlana Exchange Programme to Kastamonu University is given below.

Accepted academic staff can come for 14 days between September 2019-May 2020.

 3. RESULTS

2014-2015 Academic Year Mevlana Exchange Program applications are going to be accepted between the dates 15-22 April 2014.

Mevlana Exchange Programme is a programme which aims the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries. With the regulation published in August 23, 2011 (num: 28034), students and academic staff exchange between Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries has been possible. Different from other exchange programmes, Mevlana Exchange Programme includes all higher education institutions in the world regardless of their region.
