Secretary General, with the assistance of the units working under the General Secretariat, undertakes the below listed tasks:

Being in the core of all scientific studies, the universities, which determine and materialize the scientific policies of the countries, are the places where information technologies are mostly used and produced.

• The chairman is the director and representative of the unit. General administration, auditing, division of labour, arranging working patterns, organizing trainings and in-service trainings for the personnel are the responsibilities of the chairman. S/he directs the unit within the framework of general administration principles and related legal regulations.

The office carries out the below listed tasks which are stated in the context of the Act No. 31 of the Decree issued for Organization for Higher Education Institutions and Administrative Units of Higher Education Institutions:

Medical, Cultural and Sports Affairs Office, which was formed in the context of the Article No. 46 & 47 of the Act No. 2547 of the Organization for Higher Education Institutions, is an office which;

Directorate of Strategy Development was established on 17th March 2006 and the directorate worked under Gazi University till 07th June 2007 when the chairman for the directorate was appointed by the university administrative board.

The duties of Directorate of Construction and Technical Works were defined in the context of the article no 124 of the decree about the administrative units and duties of Higher Education Institutions.

The office, founded on 17th March 2006 within the context of the law no 5467 published in the Official Gazette No 26111, carries out the duties in the context of article no 29 of the 51 – 124 numbered decree about Higher Education Institutions and Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions under law no 2547.
