The intention establisment of our department is to breed qualified trainers, physical training and sports teachers.

The students who are graduated can be physical education teachers in private and public schools, also these students can be trainers and an academical personal.

During their education, our students maintain their active sports life in national and international teams , also they can take tasks as referees and trainers in Kastamonu.

Most of  ≈400 students that we graduated from our school, are taking tasks as physical education and sports teachers, trainers and academic personals successfully.

 

 

In Kastamonu University Physical Education and Sports Department, 12 Lecturers, 1 Research Assistants working as academic personal.

 

In Kastamonu University Physical Education and Sports Department, there is 234 students (93 female, 141 male).

Conditions for registration of Kastamonu University Physical Education and Sports Department:

 

To be graduated from high school or equal

To pass 1. Step Student Election Examination (OSS)

Pass special ability test of our school

 

Every year we take 45 students to our college with special ability test

 

Duration of education is 8 semesters and our education language is Turkish. The student finishing this period succesfully takes “ Physical Education & Sport Teacher” bachelor’s degree. For taking diploma in Physical Education & Sport Department, the students have to finish all of the lessons determined at college programme in maximum 14 terms.

 

In our college most of field lessons are being teached theoretically and practically. In the final class our students have to take school experience lesson.

 

The success evaluating is being made with the bases determined in the Kastamonu University Education-Instruction and Exam Regulation.

 

A passing grade pertaining to a course is calculated through adding the mid-term scores and final examination scores according to the percentage announced previously at the beginning of the academic year.
